New York February 2008 - Lindsay Lohan

Six weeks before her tragic death, Marilyn Monroe and famed photographer Bert Stern, shot the most beautiful photos of Marilyn adorning herself with only jewels, flowers, and very sheer sheets.

46 years later, Bert Stern and Lindsay Lohan recreate the shoot for this week's New York cover. Lindsay reportedly had no problem getting naked and actually felt very comfortable (thats a shocker!).

I do think Lindsay looks beautiful in these photos but, I honestly think she is unworthy of portraying a woman who had such a tremendous impact on the world. Marilyn Monroe to me, is the epitome of beauty, sex and glamour. Not fake tanner and loads of makeup like Lohan is well acquainted with. They do however, share the same hard partying ways and that was one of the things Stern liked about both of them; that they were "controversial women."

All in all, I thought the shoot was good. I would've imagined somebody like Scarlett Johansson for this but, Lindsay definitely captured the mass sex appeal that Marilyn was celebrated for.
