Lust Worthy - Body & Soul Cosmetics
My latest obsession has to be with with Body & Soul's makeup collection.
They have an array of professional and high quality makeup in adorable vintage packaging. As I have said before, packaging is important to me and this is one of my favorites I've seen in a while with old Hollywood iconic style faces on each of the their shadows, blushes, and powders.
I'm dying to try their Glitz Face & Body Moisturizer which significantly reminds me of Benefit's Hollywood Glo. I had trouble with the Holleywood Glo's application because it said to just pat on your face but when I did so, it looked very uneven and messy. Maybe I will have better luck with this one.

Cosmopolitan April 2008 - Hayden Panettiere
Happy Birthday!! ...to me
Sadly, I am giving a birthday shout out to myself. What can I say? I'm excited.
To make myself feel less vain, I shall also mention Barbie, who was created on this very day, 49 years ago. Happy Birthday Barbie!
Hey, don't judge; we all have our faults ;)
UK Elle April 2008 - Kate Hudson
Flawless, alluring, and strikingly beautiful is what comes to mind when I think of Kate Hudson and I can easily say the same exact thing about this cover. It is beyond compare.
First off, I am in love with the dress. The pink looks great especially with that back drop and it fits her like a dream. Her golden hair and bronzed skin compliment the wardrobe and scenery perfectly and her flushed cheeks and barely there eye makeup make everything come together. She really is a natural beauty.
I must say though, Kate's pose and expression really makes this cover the best I've seen in years! She is sexy, fierce, adorable and carefree all at the same time. Everything about it is just breathtaking.
Job well done in the UK. I wonder how our Elle will turn out.

UK Marie Claire April 2008 - Natalie Portman

Natalie Portman looks phenomenal on Marie Claire's UK April issue.
Whoever did the hair, makeup, and wardrobe for this cover is brilliant. Her glowing skin and smokey eyes look great in contrast with the sheer white dress and her hair just looks beautiful. I would kill for that hair color.
It's very doubtful but I can't wait to see if any cover this month can beat it.
This cover is completely peerless. Congratulations Natalie.
Kate Moss for YSL
Moss is being featured in Yves Saint Laurent's Spring/Summer 2008 ads.

The ad is so very regal. So very YSL.
..and as for Kate Moss; she looks stunning.
Adieu To You - Dead Skin Cells
I'm drawn to pretty packaging so I picked up one of these Sephora Brand Body Scrubs a week ago. This body scrub uses Jojoba beads to polish away any dead skin cells while Macadamia Seed oil hydrates your newly exfoliated skin. It left me flake free and smooth. Available in; Asian Ginger, Citrus Sage, Coconut Almond, Creme Brulee, Guava Passion, Lime Blossom, Morning Waterlily, Nectarine Blossom, Riviera Blue, Tangerine Grapefruit, Peach Blossom, and Tropical Jasmine.
Sephora also has bubble bath, body wash, dry oil, lotion, and body butter available in these tantalizing scents.
Spring Fling Beauty
This all wrapped up Spring Fling Beauty set from Bath & Body Works is perfect for small gifts to give to friends and family or just something to pamper yourself with.
It includes shower gel, body lotion, and a mesh sponge.
This set is available in two different scents.
- Wild Honeysuckle & Moonlight Path -
So whether you have a bridal shower or birthday to attend or if you just want to give someone a little pick me up, this set is right for you.
Betsey's Animal Print Fetish
She has shoes, watches, purses, wallets, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, slips, chemises, bras, panties, t-shirts, dresses, jackets, and even her perfume box covered in animal prints.
Gotta love it!
Adieu To You - Tired, Dark Eyes

I'm pretty much set on it; Benefit will never let me down.
This three piece set by Benefit has all the "eye savors" you will ever need in a chic pink and gold box.
Eye Bright - There "nap in a stick" pink pencil used to create a wide awake look.
Eyecon - An eye cream that fades dark circles and softens the appearance of fine lines.
Lyin' eyes - A concealing pen that's great for on the go touch ups.
Boss of Brushes - billyBEAUTY

That is why he created a collection of thirteen makeup brushes, a retractable lip brush, brush rolls, and this cute and convenient lash/brow groomer pictured here.
In his collection, each piece is specifically designed for it's function easily creating a beautiful application. The man behind these exceptional brushes reported he "personally selected a range of high quality blends of both natural and synthetic components for maximum performance and function in mind, providing an easy and ultimate application and blending of product and color to create the most beautiful makeup application. But I didn't stop there. I also paid special attention to the handle, length and weight. The handle is a lightweight, varnished birch that is chic, comfortable, easy to use and store."

What's in your bag?
Do you ever stop to think how much stuff we carry in our purses every single day? I was cleaning mine yesterday and I couldn't believe what I pulled out. I had a handfull of small pieces of paper with random thoughts and shopping lists written all over them, gum wrappers, 7 different lip glosses (!!!), 2 perfumes, and a set of keys that aren't even mine! Because of this, I decluttered like crazy and I feel so much better. I no longer need to dig like a mad man whenever my phone starts to ring or fumble for change at the bottom of my purse when a bunch of angry customers are behind me in line. So take it from me and clean immediately.
You don't want your bag to end up looking like mine did.
Fabulous Finds - Nick Stick!
I was reading my absolute favorite beauty blog, Beauty Addict, when I came across a post about shaving oils. I have longed for silky legs so I thought maybe I'd try it out. I redirected myself to the shaving oils website Pacific Shaving Company and after checking out the oils, I came across this. Nick Stick! Pacific Shaving Company's products are formulated for men but that doesn't mean they can't share such a great product. With the Nick Stick, you just put it over those inevitable nicks and done. It dries clear, packed with aloe and Vitamins A & E, and stops the bleeding instantly.
The only thing I was concerned about is how it stays clean in between uses since it comes in contact with blood. I read up on it and found that it has a self-sterilizing applicator. Imagine that! Could this product be any better? Even more so convenient.
So when you come out of the shower after accidentally nicking yourself and are ready to slip on your sexy dress, turn to this trusty Nick Stick and you'll no longer need to wait for the bleeding to stop.

Nylon March 2008 - Rachel Bilson

She's ridiculously adorable, tiny and down to earth. Yes, It's Rachel Bilson on the cover of Nylon's March 2008 issue. Rachel, who got her big break on The OC, was kept very fresh faced for her Nylon shoot. The only dramatics was the wardrobe. With feathers, a silver, sparkly top, studded shorts, and t-strap sandals, it was impossible for Bilson's photos not to be a hit. She killllled this shoot. I loved the outfits she picked and wish them to be mine. She has impeccable taste and seems very intellectual. Nylon deserves an applause for picking such a wonderful candidate for the March cover.
Benefit You Rebel Lite Tinted Moisturizer

I tried Benefit's original You Rebel Tinted Moisturizer a couple years ago and I loved it (good coverage, smooth application, moderately moisturizing) but, I found the color to be too much for my very fair complexion. I wondered why they only made one for medium to deep skin tones but I pretty much forgot about it after that. When I saw they made a lighter version, I was pumped. I tried it out hoping for the best and that's what I got. It's perfect for my skin tone and it's very sheer coverage which is what I like. It doesn't feel heavy on the skin and it is packed with Vitamin E, aloe, Vitamin A and SPF 15. So for all the fair skinned ladies out there, this is the perfect tinted moisturizer for you.

Bare Escentuals Smoky V Eye Kit
Bare Escentuals came into my life last summer and my eye makeup has never looked better. I was never very good at the more dramatic makeup but I was dying to give myself a smoky eye. I picked up this kit a few months ago and I couldn't be happier. Never would I thought the smoky eye could be this hassle free! The V side of the brush ensures you a flawless application because all you have to do is distribute the eyeshadow on it evenly then sweep across your lid. Yes, it's that simple!
The kit comes with two eyeshadows and a duel ended brush.

I've never been the one to buy these huge combination sets but since it was from Sephora and it was a very small price of $48, I decided to indulge myself.

UK Glamour March 2008 - Linday Lohan
Looking pretty in a belted red dress on the cover of the March 2008 UK Glamour, Lindsay Lohan gets "real" about Britney Spears & Amy Whinehouse, spending time alone, and the misconceptions people have of her.
Lindsay tries to come off as so mature and responsible but it's apparent her words aren't truthful to her actions. She said the biggest misconception of her is that she "doesnt have her head in the right place" but she insists they are wrong and she's turned her life completely around. Yeah, she's slowed down a bit but I still wouldn't say she's making a come back.
Besides her dead eyes, I think the cover looks more than mediocre. However, I don't buy a word she says which completely contradicts this edition of Glamour, "The Reality Issue".
Deborah Lippman's Nail Color Collection
Glamour & Esquire March 2008 - Naomi Watts
On Esquire, they show Naomi as the low maintenance, natural beauty I believe she really is. With the messy hair, minimal makeup, and mens inspired look gone naughty, this cover is one of the best I've seen all month.
Glamour shows her a lot more dolled up in a beautiful, off-white dress, subtle but pretty makeup, and wind swept hair.
I think Glamour and Esquire definitely made the right choice with Naomi. She looks absolutely stunning on both covers and that is kind of hard to come by this month after the crop of not so exceptional ones. (W - Vogue)
